I tested all of these with just my phone and internet bundles.
1. The Art of Selling (Closing & Affiliate Marketing)
This is skill number one. If you skip this, forget the others.
Everything online is selling, That influencer you follow? Selling, That shop on Instagram? Selling, That YouTuber? Selling your attention to advertisers.
Affiliate marketing is the easiest way to start. You don't need your own product, You take someone else's product from ClickBank, Amazon, or any marketplace, you sell it, you get commission.
Why it pays: A good closer can make $20-$100 per day just by chatting with customers on WhatsApp. Affiliate commissions are $10 - $200 per sale.
How to start today:
Go to http://ClickBank.com, pick one product in Health or Make Money niche. Don't promote the link directly. Create a simple blog post or TikTok video explaining the problem. Then drop your link. This is the 3-level framework I teach on dikononeagent.online.
Tools: WhatsApp Business, Canva, your phone.
2. Copywriting - Selling With Words
Copywriting is not academic writing. It is writing that makes people click "Buy Now".
Every business needs it, Their Facebook ad needs it, Their website needs it, Their email needs it.
And most business owners write terrible captions like "Welcome dear customers".
If you can write a caption that makes someone say "I need this", you will never be broke.
Why it pays: A single sales email for a client pays $100-$500. Small brands pay $20-$70 per ad copy.
How to start: Learn the AIDA formula: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action. Practice by rewriting ads you see on Instagram.
How to get clients: Go to Instagram pages of shops with 5k followers but bad captions. DM them: "I can rewrite your last 3 posts to get more sales. Pay me only if you like it." 2 out of 10 will say yes.
3. Short-Form Video Editing (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
This is the most in-demand skill in 2026. Every business knows video sells, but no boss has time to edit.
They shoot 10 minutes of raw video and need you to cut it into 3 viral 30-second videos with captions, sounds, and effects.
Why it pays: On Fiverr, one Reel edit is $15-$40. You can charge $10-$15 per video locally. Do 5 videos a day = $50-$75. Guys I know are making $1000+ per month just editing for artists and shops.
How to start: You don't need a laptop. Download CapCut on your phone. It's free. Learn auto-captions, jump cuts, and trending sounds.
Clients: Boutiques, barbershops, restaurants, coaches who want to go viral.
4. No-Code Website Building (WordPress + AI)
Businesses still need websites. In 2026, you don't need to code. You need WordPress + Elementor + AI.
A simple website for a lodge, a school, or a local store can be built in 2 days.
Why it pays: A basic 5-page website goes for $200-$800. The cost to you? Domain + Hosting is about $30-$50 per year.
How to start: Buy hosting from Hostinger. Install WordPress. Learn Elementor from YouTube for 3 days. Build a demo site for a fake restaurant. That demo is your portfolio.
5. Ghostwriting & AI Content Creation
CEOs, coaches, and busy founders want to post on LinkedIn and X every day but they have no time. They pay ghostwriters to write for them.
Now with AI, you can write 10x faster. Your job is not to copy-paste ChatGPT. Your job is to add human stories.
Why it pays: A ghostwriter on LinkedIn charges $500-$2000 per month per client. Even one client changes your life.
How to start: Pick one platform. Post valuable content every day for 15 days about one topic e.g. "Business lessons from the street". Founders will DM you.
6. Digital Marketing & Paid Ads Management
If you can take $50 and turn it into $150 in sales for a business using Facebook/Instagram ads, you are a god to them.
Many shops boost posts and waste money. They need someone who knows targeting, retargeting, and lookalike audiences.
Why it pays: Shops pay $150-$400 per month retainer + ad budget. If you have 4 clients, you are at $600-$1600 per month.
How to start: Take the free Meta Blueprint course. Then run ads for your own small product or for a friend's shop with $10 budget to get results. Screenshot the results. That is your CV.
7. Graphic Design with Canva
Forget Photoshop. In 2026, businesses want fast, clean designs for social media. Canva does it.
Posters, price lists, menu designs, YouTube thumbnails - all made in Canva in 20 minutes.
Why it pays: A poster is $5-$10. A brand kit (logo, poster template, price list) is $50-$150. You can make 5 posters in one hour.
How to start: Open http://Canva.com (free). Search "Instagram post templates". Customize 10 templates for different niches.
8. Voice-Over and AI Voice
If you have a good voice, or even a clear voice, you can make money. YouTube channels, ads, TikTok videos all need voice-over.
Now you can even clone voices with AI tools like ElevenLabs.
Why it pays: A 60-second voice-over on Fiverr is $20-$50.
How to start: Record yourself reading my blog post "The Art of Selling" with your phone voice recorder. Clean it with Adobe Podcast (free). Upload to Fiverr as a gig.
9. Online Tutoring & Selling Knowledge
You know something someone else doesn't, Maybe you passed school well, Maybe you know English, Maybe you know how to braid hair.
You can sell that on Zoom, Google Meet, or pre-recorded videos.
Why it pays: Parents pay $50-$100 per month for online tuition for their kids. If you teach 10 kids on a WhatsApp group video, that's $500-$1000 per month.
10. Virtual Assistant (VA) for Foreign Businesses
This is the most underrated. A business owner in the US or UK needs someone to reply to emails, manage their calendar, do research, post on their Instagram.
They will pay $5-$10 per hour. Work 5 hours = $25-$50 per day.
Why it pays: Because you speak English and you are in a different time zone. You work while they sleep.
How to start: Create a profile on Upwork. Your profile title: "Reliable Virtual Assistant | English Fluent | Available in US Hours". Apply for 10 jobs daily.
Final Truth - Stop Learning, Start Earning
You don't need 10 skills. You need ONE.
Pick one skill from this list. Just one. Give it 30 days of crazy focus.
Don't watch 100 YouTube videos. Watch 5 videos and do the work.
Your phone is not for scrolling. It is a money machine.
Which skill will you start today?
